Professional Services Project Manager
Global IQX Inc. is consistently searching for extremely motivated and dynamic Project Managers to join a solid Professional Services team. As a team member, you would assist in developing, maintaining, and enhancing current and re-engineering projects for our clients. This Project Manager will be the leader for our clients and our company within the insurance industry for various size projects. The Professional Services Team is responsible for understanding technical requirements, architected platforms and design implementations. Our software platform is used for developing and deploying loosely coupled solutions using Web Services. The daily duties will be (but are not limited to):
- Management of client, team and projects
- Daily status checks on progress for on-time delivery and project within budget
- Establishment of organization-wide standards and best practices including developing policies, procedures, and workflows for each project
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with client and team
- Creation of design, implementation, and re-process engineering of systems to manage complex processes and to optimize performance
- Coordination of communication, meetings, and activities in addition to handling dependencies among several remote groups or organizations
- Provide technical guidance to design team and assure design is technically sound/efficient
- Global thinking initiatives and broad view of the business and its opportunities Develops long-term strategies for growth
Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or MIS
- PMP Certified
- Minimum of 10 years as a Project Manager within the software industry
- Extremely solid history of maintaining successful projects
- Experience with strategic planning, presentations, and supporting organizational change
- Excellent management and team building skills
- Experience with project management software like Suretrac, Prolog, Expedition, etc
- Stable Work History within the last 10+ years
- French and/or Spanish would be an asset
