Senior Web Application Tester

Summary of Job Responsiblities

The candidate will be involved in all aspects of Quality Assurance and testing in the IQX software development process. This includes the test design, test execution, test tool improvement, and test process optimization.

Outline of Essential Job Responsiblities/Functions to Include but not Limited to:

• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to support regression, functional, and performance testing.
• Perform test management such as documenting bugs and tracking resolutions.
• Establish and maintain test environments.
• Design and maintain automated test framework and automated test scripts.
• Help to define new test processes and strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science degree or higher.
• Over 5 years experience in professional software testing.
• Demonstrated experience with J2EE Application Server is a MUST.
• Demonstrated experience with DB2, Oracle or MySql is a MUST.
• Demonstrated experience with testing tools for web applications is a MUST.
• Demonstrated experience with software testing methodology and processes optimization and improvements.
• Demonstrated experience in customer service and support.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to work in a high stress, high productivity and rapidly changing environment.
• Good organizational abilities, oral communications and interpersonal skills are needed. Ability to operate and communicate effectively while under pressure is essential. Some overtime, weekend work, and on call will be required.
• Ability to solve technically challenging problems involving integrated operating systems and browsers.
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks.
• Ability to be a "self starter" who identifies, resolves and reports on issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Willingness to be a perfect team member.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Willingness to follow and improve established testing procedures
