With vaccinated populations approaching herd immunity and health restrictions being eased, many are looking forward to a brighter future.
While most parts of our daily lives are returning to normal, trends introduced or accelerated by the pandemic are here to stay. The employee benefits business in particular has undergone a remarkable digital transformation. From remote work models to customer experience transformation and cloud adoption, many existing digital trends have only accelerated in the past several months. Reflecting some of these trends, Global IQX has launched a new AI component to help underwriting teams manage workload and IQX cloud deployments have accelerated dramatically.
As of this update, the Global IQX team is still working remotely. While we enjoy our virtual team-building activities and continue to maintain effective collaboration, our growing team at Global IQX is eager to meet up again in person!
One final note: Expect an update in the near future on an upcoming virtual event hosted by Global IQX! Subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know.

The Rapid Pace of Transformation in Employee Benefits
When the COVID-19 pandemic abruptly forced millions of workers to work from home and pay extra attention to their health, their employee benefits became a major focus. The insurance carriers who provide these vital products themselves became distributed workforces, stretched thin by a surge of demand for new group benefits such as virtual healthcare and the need for digital self-service options.
We’ve been fortunate to help more employee benefits providers realize their digital transformation goals in the last year than in any other year prior. Our benefits specialization and focus on AI and agility positioned our company well to equip carriers with the tools they needed to thrive in this new landscape.
Global IQX’s new AI Recommendation Engine drew considerable interest over the last year. The pandemic accelerated existing trends in automation as employee benefits sales & underwriting teams fell under immense pressure to deliver results, quickly. Our various AI components enabled sales & underwriting teams to streamline underwriting and identify opportunities to upsell additional benefits.
With customer experience becoming a top priority and digital enrollment on the rise, IQX also unveiled a new Employee Self-service Portal. This component enables plan members to seamlessly enrol in a group plan and select optional benefits from a slick interface on any device.
