Global IQX adds healthcare database to web-based quoting service
CI MediHealth product adds value to Web site for insurance professionals
Ottawa, Ontario — March 20, 2002
Global IQX Inc., developer of the ConnectInsure Web-based quoting service that enables insurance brokers to conduct online quotations and enrollment transactions, today announced the addition of a brand-new product, named CI MediHealth, to the ConnectInsure Web site.
CI MediHealth is the ConnectInsure brand of MediResource, an established health and wellness database that provides comprehensive information on approximately 800 diseases and thousands of prescription medications. The database also provides health news stories and a directory of community support groups. CI MediHealth will be available to the registered insurance brokers and consultants that use the ConnectInsure Web portal at www.connectinsure.com. In addition, the product will be made available to clients of insurance brokers, as well as to major Canadian insurance carriers.
